PortMiami became a little more crowded Thursday with the arrival of a pair of cruise ships.

Virgin Voyages’ newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, pulled into the port, along with Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth.

The Brilliant Lady is Virgin’s fourth ship and set sail out of New York last month.

The 912-foot, 110,000-ton ship can hold 2,762 passengers with 1,303 outside cabins and 101 inside cabins. Guests have to be at least 18 years old.

The Brilliant Lady will be cruising out of Miami for several months before heading off to Los Angeles, where it will begin cruising on Pacific voyages in April 2026.

Meanwhile, Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth arrived in Miami after undergoing what the company calls a “refresh” and will homeport in Miami for the first time.

The Queen Elizabeth, which made its maiden voyage in 2010, is 964.5 feet long and weighs 90,901 tons with rooms for 2,081 guests.

The ship’s itinerary features multiple voyages from Miami to the Caribbean.
