STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A gourmet cocktail party hosted by the Staten Island Ballet is about to unfold in the Above Rooftop at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield.
The date to set aside is Thursday, Oct. 23 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Recognized for their service to community will be Public Administrator, Edwina Frances Martin, magician Mike Sherman, and members of the Mid-Island Rotary.
The evening will include a cocktail buffet, an open bar and a performance by dancers of the Staten Island Ballet.
Tickets are priced at $150 per person.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE HONOREES
EDWINA FRANCES MARTIN
A public interest attorney, Martin focuses on government relations, non-profit management and strategic communications.
She volunteers extensively within her community and the New York legal community, including Staten Island Meals on Wheels, St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Alice Austen House.
MIKE SHERMAN
Performing magic tricks since the age of 6, Sherman has continued his passion as a professional magician and is author of the Magic Shop book series.
He has supported Staten Island charities for four decades and never charges a fee for his shows for local fundraisers, including the Staten Island Ballet.
