STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY is fighting a three-alarm fire at a home in Mariners Harbor on Wednesday morning.

The fire was called at 5:36 a.m. at 188 Grandview Ave. near Davidson Street and Arlington Place, according to a spokesperson for the FDNY and EMS.

The fire has spread to at least one other building, the station reported.

The fire reportedly began in the basement.

At least 40 units and 140 fire and EMS personnel are responding to the ongoing emergency response, according to the spokesperson.
