MURRAY HILL, Manhattan (PIX11) — A bus caused some visible damage to the scaffolding of a Manhattan building on Thursday, video shows.
The result of the crash was captured on Citizen video. The bus was seen stuck underneath a heap of scaffolding on East 41st Street.
According to police, the incident happened at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday. Law enforcement sources told PIX11 News there were no occupants, other than the driver, on the bus at the time of the crash.
Firefighters and police officers taped off the area surrounding the crash. Traffic on East 41st Street near Lexington Avenue was seen blocked off.
It is unclear if the bus was in service at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported.
