The new lounge, called BlueHouse, will open on December 18 at 5 am in Terminal 5 at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

A second location is scheduled to open at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal C in 2026, the airline announced.

The new lounge is designed to “feel like an extension of home” and is styled after a New York City apartment, complete with Art Deco decor and “playful nods to JetBlue’s history.”

The space will have two floors and span 9,000 square feet.

“We wanted customers to feel like they’re stepping into a warm and stylish New York City apartment filled with character, where layers of JetBlue history and New York iconography can be discovered with every visit,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, JetBlue’s senior vice president of marketing and brand.

Lounge access will be automatically granted to high-paying members of the airline’s loyalty program and cardholders, but other passengers will have the chance to buy in.

The lounge will be free for Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Card members, and transatlantic Mint customers, along with one complimentary guest.

Eligible passengers can also bring additional guests for $39 each.

Limited-access passes will be available for purchase in February for Mosaic 1-3 members, JetBlue Plus and Business Card members, non-transatlantic Mint customers, and annual BlueHouse members.

The lounge will offer visitors high-speed internet, power outlets, and open seating, as well as fresh food and a bar.

It will also include a game room stocked with JetBlue-branded cards, chess, checkers, and children’s toys, the company said.

Passengers will also be able to take photos at the lounge’s custom photo booth.

The lounges are part of JetBlue’s effort to expand its premium hospitality services.

“As our first lounge, it represents an exciting milestone in our JetForward journey as we focus on bringing affordable, premium experiences from the aircraft to the airport,” JetBlue President Marty St. George said.
