This weekend will be an opportunity to view what some scientists call the best meteor shower of the year.The Geminids Meteor Shower is known for bright and frequent fireballs in the night sky. On clear nights, it is possible to see up to 120 of these meteors each hour.The best time to view the show will be overnight Saturday into early Sunday, from midnight until dawn.Of course, cloud cover will be a factor in how much, if anything, you will be able to see overhead.
