BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father-in-law Thursday night inside a Brooklyn home, police said.
The suspect also stabbed his mother-in-law multiple times, according to authorities.
Albert Torres, 35, faces charges of murder and attempted murder, according to arrest records.
Torres was taken into police custody and later arrested on Friday evening, police said.
The stabbing happened last night. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a residence on East 69th Street between Avenue L and M in Brooklyn, authorities said.
The two victims were found with multiple stab wounds and were taken to a local hospital. Juan Manuel Galicia, identified as Torres’ father-in-law, later died. The woman remains hospitalized, authorities said.
