The Mets are trying to rebuild the Yankees’ 2025 bullpen.

The Post’s Joel Sherman reported that the Amazin’s are finalizing a two-year, $22 million deal for Luke Weaver.

Weaver shined as the Yankees closer in 2024 after taking over midseason, but had a disappointing 2025.

Weaver, 32, was awful in the postseason, where he allowed five runs over three appearances against the Red Sox and Blue Jays in which he only recorded one out.

The Mets previously signed fellow ex-Yankee Devin Williams to a three-year deal this offseason, while losing closer Edwin Diaz to the Dodgers.
