Earlier this month, Cruz appeared to suggest that the alleged feud had cooled when he reposted an old picture of his brothers and their dad, alongside the caption: “Love you guys.”
However, the aspiring musician apparently felt compelled to speak out when the Daily Mail published a piece recently with the headline: “David and Victoria Beckham UNFOLLOW estranged son Brooklyn, 26, as it’s revealed he’ll spend Christmas with wife Nicola Peltz’s billionaire parents amid family feud.”
“NOT TRUE,” Cruz insisted on Instagram over the weekend. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right.”
The 20-year-old then alleged: “They woke up blocked… as did I.”
HuffPost UK has contacted representatives for Brooklyn Peltz Beckham for comment.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the former Spice Girls singer has told People magazine that it “isn’t true” that she and Sir David unfollowed Brooklyn on social media.
Sir David and Victoria Beckham have been married since 1999 and share four children, 26-year-old Brooklyn, 23-year-old Romeo, 20-year-old Cruz and 14-year-old Harper.
