A person died after they fell through glass at Emerald Queen Casino on East R Street, the Tacoma Fire Department confirmed.
Tacoma firefighters responded to a call at 9:19 p.m. on Saturday regarding a person who fell through glass on an upper floor, near the escalators.
Firefighters arrived to find the person dead. They also took a second patient to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Puyallup Tribal Police Department is investigating the incident, as it occurred on tribal land.
