The Trump administration announced Monday they will pause leases for all large-scale offshore wind projects that are currently under construction in the United States. That includes New York’s Empire Wind which the White House had just given a pass to earlier this year. Jack Arpey was at the Capitol as Gov. Kathy Hochul addressed the issue. Also, after over a decade in the state Senate, Brad Hoylman-Sigal will be leaving his post to take on his new role as Manhattan borough president.
