MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a child sex crime in Manhattan, authorities said.
The arrested man was identified as Roy Swartz, 68, of Manhattan.
Officials said Swartz was arrested around 4:19 p.m. Tuesday on a Riley County District Court warrant charging him with one count of indecent liberties with a child 14 or more years of age but less than 16 years of age in Manhattan.

Riley County Police officials said the arrest stemmed from a report filed on June 3, 2025.
Swartz was issued a total bond of $20,000 and was no longer in the Riley County Jail as of Wednesday morningn, officials said.
Because of the nature of the reported crime, officials said, no additional information will be released.
