MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) reports that a 45-year-old woman died Tuesday night in Manhattan.
According to the KHP, around 9:30 p.m., a 68-year old man was driving a Mitsubishi Mirage north on Tuttle Creek Boulevard, crossing the intersection of Bluemont Street. A 45-year-old woman who was wearing dark clothing and was walking north in the driving lane of Tuttle Creek Boulevard was struck by the vehicle. The woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The KHP identified the crash victim as 45-year-old Thalonda Marie Lashley of Junction City. The KHP reported that Lashley’s next of kin was notified.
