He’s a modern-day Kevin McCallister.

A 12-year-old boy stopped a “Grinch” who broke in while he was home alone Tuesday — after the kid jumped from his bedroom window and called the cops, police and his proud family said.

Tristen Taylor was alone in his home on Eagle Avenue in Medford around 12:50 p.m. when he heard glass shatter and the sound of the prowler’s footsteps in the kitchen, according to the Suffolk County Police Department and his kin.

He immediately knew something was off, his family told The Post.

Tristen opened his window and leaped out to the yard, where he spotted the homeless intruder, Christian Garcia, 53, lurking inside the home, cops said.

The heroic child hid in the yard and dialed 911 on his phone.

Police descended on the scene within three minutes and arrested Garcia inside the house.

Unfazed by the intrusion, Tristen only called his mom, Amber Taylor, after cops arrived.

“At first, I thought he was kidding because he was so calm when he called me,” Amber said. “That’s when he passed the phone over to the officer, and that’s when I knew he was being serious.”

Garcia allegedly broke a kitchen window before getting inside the property and roaming around several bedrooms, Amber said.

The seventh grader was not injured — and now seems more concerned about upcoming Christmas presents, his mom said.

“He really is a hero and we’re all so proud of him,” she said. “He just wanted to make sure the Christmas presents are okay.”

Garcia, meanwhile, was charged with burglary and possession of burglar tools.

A Long Island judge held him on $50,000 cash bail at his arraignment Wednesday afternoon.

“He was the Grinch,” Tristen’s grandmother, Timothea, said about Garcia.

“It’s something straight out of a movie,” Amber added.
