Peter Francis Carroll, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 20, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, he lived on Staten Island from the age of 1. He was a graduate of St. Patrick’s elementary school, SI Academy High School, and St. John’s University, where he played center for the SJU basketball team. Married 65 years to Carol until her passing in 2022, he worked for Brooklyn Union Gas Company and the NYC Board of Education. A proud veteran and retired member of the FDNY with 34 years of honorable service, he was the loving father of four children and proud grandfather to eight grandchildren.
