Travelers based in Northeast Ohio will soon have a new option for flying directly to one of the most popular destinations in the United States, thanks to JetBlue’s newest route announcement.
The New York-based carrier has announced it will launch a new nonstop route between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and New York’s JFK Airport, starting this spring.
The new daily service will begin on March 30, 2026, and tickets for the new route are now on sale with introductory fares as low as $49 one-way.
JetBlue will use its single-aisle Airbus A220 jets to serve the route, which offer perks like seatback entertainment and free Wi-Fi.
In addition to having nonstop airlift to New York City, the forthcoming route will also give Cleveland-based travelers one-stop access to JetBlue’s dozens of destinations served out of JFK, which include domestic vacation spots in Florida as well as international flights across Latin America and the Caribbean and a daily flight to London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR). JetBlue is also the airline offering the most departures between JFK and California.
“New York is not only a great destination and business hub, but it’s now another JetBlue gateway for Clevelanders and Northeast Ohioans,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships. “With our new route, Cleveland customers can choose what works best for them, unlocking even more access to JetBlue’s growing leisure network.”
The route’s flight schedule will be ideal for travelers making connections at JFK, too. Flights will depart CLE at 6 a.m. and land at JFK at 7:40 a.m., while on the return leg, flights will leave JFK at 9:45 p.m. and arrive in Cleveland at 11:55 p.m.
To score the cheapest fares as part of the introductory deal, travelers need to book their tickets by January 4, 2026, for travel between March 30 and May 30, 2026. The deal is only valid for flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only.
