American Airlines is expanding its connectivity from CLE with up to three daily flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) starting in February.
With seven peak daily departures to its third-largest hub, American Airlines said, “Cleveland customers have more choice, more flexibility, more ways to experience Chicago or connect to 180 destinations on more than 500 flights from ORD this spring.”
Tickets for these flights from CLE to ORD can be purchased on American Airlines’ mobile app or aa.com .

JetBlue will have a new daily nonstop route from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) starting March 30, 2026.

The expansion also increases Cleveland’s with other destinations
The service expansion between CLE and JFK also adds convenience as a one-stop connection to dozens of destinations through the JetBlue network.
This includes dozens of destinations, including Boston, Florida, the Caribbean, Latin America, and London Healthrow.
“This new nonstop route unlocks exciting new travel options for our passengers,” Assistant Director of Commercial Business and Revenue Scott C. Carr stated. “Additionally, it further strengthens CLE as Northeast Ohio’s Gateway to the World.”
“Flights between New York and Cleveland will operate on JetBlue’s A220 aircraft, feature the airline’s award-winning service; fast, free unlimited Fly-Fi; seatback entertainment at every seat and complimentary snacks and drinks,” JetBlue shared.
