CITYWIDE — The MTA will run enhanced service for New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, with extra late-night trains on major lines, plus added commuter rail service. On New Year’s Day, subways, buses and railroads will operate on Sunday or holiday schedules. Access-A-Ride will run 24/7.

The MTA says there will be increased evening and post-midnight service on major lines, including the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, C, D, G, L, N, Q and R trains, and the 42nd Street Shuttle. The A train will run express until 2:30 a.m.

Most Brooklyn bus lines will be operating on a reduced schedule on Dec. 31, except the B100, B103 and BM1 through BM5.
