Every year, dreamers stop by the New Year’s Eve Wishing Wall in Times Square to write their hopes and dreams on tissue squares. Here’s what they say.

Their manifestations range from personal enrichment…

… to peace on Earth.

Some submissions were NYC-centric, like “my fave restaurants stay in business” and “for 311 to be effective.”

Many were personal.

Others were universal.

The tissues are used as part of the confetti that fall from the Manhattan sky after the ball drops at midnight.
