VINEGAR HILL — THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF A COMBINED SITE IN VINEGAR HILL is the subject of a presentation being made at Community Board 2’s next Land Use Committee meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
This is a courtesy presentation in advance of a future application in the Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP).
Jennifer Maldonado, CEO of the NYC Educational Construction Fund, and AJ Pires, president of Alloy Development, will introduce their proposal for the combined parcels at 240 Nassau St. in Vinegar Hill (site of the former Navy Yard Madison Square Boys & Girls Club) and 50 Navy St. (P.S. 287/ Dr. Bailey K. Ashford Middle School), where they plan a new school, housing, community facility space, and retail space.
The Land Use Committee convenes at 6 p.m. on Jan. 7 at 350 Jay St., 8th Floor Conference Room, with a livestream available. More information is available online.
