Sir David Beckham has issued a direct message to son Brooklyn, in what appears to be his boldest olive branch yet amid their bleak family feud.

Dad David was feeling sentimental on New Year‘s as he took to social media to gush over his love for his children as he said goodbye to 2025. Hours before midnight, David shared images of his wife Victoria and their children Romeo, Cruz and Harper. However, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were noticeably missing from the initial family tribute.

“I’m so grateful for all my family I love you all,” said the former footballer alongside images of sons Cruz and Romeo when they were younger. “I’m so lucky to have my Amazimg family x,” [sic] he shared.

An emotional David then shared a photo of just himself and son Brooklyn with their arms wrapped around each other in happier times. “I love you all so much,” penned the dad followed by a white heart emoji.

The smiling faces appeared as a bold move to include Brooklyn, who took drastic steps to step away from the Beckham clan last year. After a year of snubbing his family, the amateur chef took the decision to block them all from his social media feed meaning he’d never have to hear or see them again.

This did not stop David from trying to make peace and remember the good times as he shared a final New Year photo of his whole family posed up together just after Harper was born. “I’m a very lucky Daddy” alongside another white heart emoji. The image was particularly poignant as the three brothers are now no longer speaking.

“You are my Life” next to five white heart emojis – symbolising one for his wife and each of his children including eldest son Brooklyn. David continued: “I Love you all, Love Dadddy x On to 2026” followed by an emoji of two toasting Champagne flutes.

The heartbreaking feud between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and the rest of the Beckham clan has been noticeably rumbling on since spring, as fans noticed Brooklyn was missing from a number of family occasions – including both parents birthdays – and failed to pay tribute to them on Instagram, despite usually doing so.

Brooklyn and Nicola have continued to skip special family celebrations – including Sir David’s long-awaited knighthood earlier this year – and renewed their vows without a single Beckham in sight. The feud appeared to kick up a gear when it was claimed Brooklyn had blocked brothers Romeo and Cruz, however it was later claimed by a source that Romeo and Cruz had been the ones to block Brooklyn and Nicola.

In another sad turn in the lead up to Christmas, after a string of public olive branches from the Beckhams, Brooklyn blocked his parents David and Victoria as well as brother Cruz, on Instagram. Cruz revealed the sad turn of events as it was reported in the press that David and Victoria had been the ones to do the blocking.

Cruz shared a screenshot of the article and wrote below: “NOT TRUE My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.” The news saw fans leave a wave of criticism on Brooklyn and Nicola’s festive social media shares.

Nicola and Brooklyn posted a joint share of snaps from their Christmas – which featured them wearing matching pyjamas – and wished their followers “a marry christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness. However, fans were focused on the brutal move from the couple so close to Christmas. One follower wrote: “Brooklyn you can get lots of wife’s but only one mum… you have to member that. Heal each other with love, kindness, care & support.”

Another added: “Remember where you come from, you would be nothing without them. Ungrateful.” While a third wrote: “Why do you use the Beckham family name if you don’t want to deal with them?”
