A new six-story self-storage facility recently opened in Jersey City, bringing nearly 800 modern storage units to one of the state’s most densely populated areas.
Jersey City Self Storage opened Oct. 3 at 300 Thomas McGovern Drive, according to a statement by Tulfra Real Estate.
The first phase of the project features 797 climate-controlled storage units spanning 115,000 square feet.
The Rochelle Park-based development company plans to expand the facility across three phases to create 260,000 square feet of storage space.
Fulton Bank provided financing for the project, which was arranged by JLL Capital Markets. Public Storage will serve as the leasing agent and facility manager.
