NEW YORK – Thousands of Satmar Hasidim from both factions have gathered in Manhattan to protest against the State of Israel and its proposed military draft law. The demonstrators, dressed in traditional Hasidic attire, are voicing their opposition to mandatory conscription for yeshiva students in Israel.
