STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A massive house fire on Staten Island early Friday morning prompted a response from FDNY and EMS.

According to unconfirmed emergency transmissions, the fire started around 5 a.m. at 59 Norwalk Ave. in Castleton Corners.

The multiple-story home was extensively damaged from the blaze. It’s unclear at this time whether the house was occupied when the fire broke out.
