STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are searching for the individuals responsible for an armed robbery in Concord Friday night.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, a 26-year-old man was approached by an unknown perpetrator in the vicinity of 2071 Clove Rd. around 10:18 p.m.

This unknown individual allegedly displayed a firearm and robbed the victim of his chain, the spokesperson told the Advance/SILive.com. The two engaged in a physical altercation which left the victim with a laceration to the head that required a transport to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, police said.

There are no arrests in this case and the NYPD continues to canvass for three men sought for questioning, the spokesperson explained.
