MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation responded to an officer-involved shooting in Pottawatomie County Saturday.
According to the KBI, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office was responding to a shots fired called at a residence on Josie Lane in Manhattan, Kan., when a man was shot.
KBI agents responded around 3:50 p.m.
The man was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No officers were were injured during the incident.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office stated on their Facebook that Sheriff Doug Adams requested the KBI’s assistance to investigate the incident and ensure a fair and impartial investigation.
