To say Kavin Gnanaprakash loves math would be an understatement. The County Prep High School freshman could perhaps best be described as a mathematical savant.
Math has long been Gnanaprakash’s favorite subject and chief interest. The 14-year-old Jersey City native loves to spend hours studying mathematical concepts ranging from obscure to practical, and he is particularly passionate about solving math challenges. On a recent video call, Gnanaprakash beamed while explaining that he was taking geometry during regular school hours and algebra II after school.
