Colin Jost and Pete Davidson’s dreams of turning the Staten Island Ferry in New York City into a money-making machine are still afloat.
New plans for the vessel — now dubbed Titanic 2 — were unveiled on Dec. 16. In addition to featuring numerous bars and restaurants, the ferry will also boast a theater on its former parking platform, and the boat will be accessible 24/7 as it’s tugged back and forth between Staten Island and Manhattan.

The Saturday Night Live funnymen famously purchased the ferry in 2021 for $280,100, but it’s proved to be a money pit ever since, sources say.

Paul Italia, owner of The Stand Group and co-owner of the ferry, believes the investment will eventually pay off, however.

“As crazy as it may seem,” Italia says, “we actually really thought it out before we did buy this ferry,” per New York Post.
