A 53-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Bronx, suffering multiple wounds throughout his body, police said Monday.
The victim was found unconscious and unresponsive near E. 157th St. and Third Ave. in Melrose around 2 p.m., according to police.
Medics transported him to Lincoln Hospital, where he died shortly after arrival, cops said.
There were no immediate arrests in the case. Police are investigating.
The man’s identity was not immediately released, as his family awaits notification.
