Brooklyn Beckham has sent a legal notice to his parents David and Victoria in the wake of their rumoured feud.

The eldest son of the former England football captain, 50, and Spice Girl, 51, has warned his parents to only contact him through his lawyers, The Sun reports.

It further states that they cannot “tag” him on social media.

David Beckham claims being knighted is ‘better’ than his six Premier League titles

According to the publication, a breach of the notice led to Brooklyn blocking both of his parents online after his mother Victoria “liked” a video he shared on Instagram last month.

The clip in question showed the 26-year-old making a roast chicken.

“Beer brined chicken, mashed potatoes, and a side of @express,” he captioned the video, which has since amassed over 17,000 views.

According to Brooklyn’s brother Cruz, 20, Victoria’s response to the clip caused the Beckhams to get the cold shoulder.

“They (my parents) woke up blocked . . . so did I,” he wrote in a post shared to his Instagram story.

It has also been revealed that Brooklyn’s wife Nicola, 31, has blocked a few of the family members as well.

A source told The Sun: “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heart-breaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents.

“The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately not publicly.

“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”

According to the insider, David and Victoria’s actions were simply done in the hopes that Brooklyn would know “the door is always open” if he wants to reconnect.

The Beckhams are reportedly “devastated” by the estrangement, especially now that reconciliation seems unlikely anytime soon.

It comes after Brooklyn failed to appear at some of the Beckhams’ biggest milestone moments last year, further fuelling the rumour mill.
