BUSHWICK — BUSHWICK MAY SOON see a new six-story residential building at 1100 Greene Avenue. According to New York Yimby, permits were filed for the construction of the building, located between Bushwick Avenue and Goodwin Place, a few blocks from the Gates Avenue J/Z station.

The proposed 62-foot-tall development would contain 34 rental units across 18,270 square feet of residential space, averaging about 537 square feet per apartment. Plans also include a 33-foot rear yard. The masonry structure is designed by Chi Wai Chung of Prime Zone Building Consulting.

Demolition permits for the existing three-story building were filed in June 2024. A construction timeline has not yet been announced.
