Another disturbance will bring us rain by Saturday afternoon and this rain will last into the evening. Temperatures will still be above average with highs in the 40s on Saturday. By Sunday, temperatures will be dropping and we could see some snow showers Sunday into Monday.
We don’t expect a lot of accumulation with the snow chances to close out the weekend. Temperatures will be a bit colder heading into next week.

5. 5 states sue Trump administration for withholding billions in social safety net funds
The states — California, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois and New York — called the move an unconstitutional abuse of power. The Trump administration announced earlier this week it was withholding their social safety net funding. The funding went toward three federal programs, two of which focus on lifting families with children out of poverty.
6. Hennepin County prosecutor calls on public to share Minneapolis shooting evidence with her office
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty on Friday called on members of the public to send any video or other evidence in the fatal shooting of Renee Good directly to her office, challenging the Trump administration’s decision to leave the investigation solely to the FBI.
