The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles pumped the brakes on over 2,000 license plate requests in 2025 — and shared the complete list of humorous, strange and vulgar rejects.

Vanity plate submissions such as “5HITSHOW,” “DSNUT5,” “BEEYATCH,” “BYSTUPID,” “HOEZONLY,” “METH,” “D0.RAMI” and “MAFYA” failed to stay in their lane, according to the DMV.

Ones that used the letter F to stand for the expletive — like “LTSFNGO,” “FNCOOL32,” “MILFGUY” “LUXAF,” “SWEETASF” and “FOXYAF” — were also canned.

Exclamatory plate proposals like “DAMMMMMN,” “HEYYYYY” and “LMAOOOOO” also didn’t make the cut.

And those that spelled out brand names, such as “PEPSI,” “NOKIA” “ROLEX,” “PRADA” and “TEMU” were thrown out the window.

“NYS DMV has a rigorous screening protocol for personalized license plate requests, rejecting any that are not in compliance with our regulations,” the DMV said in a statement.
