STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A motor vehicle collision in Arden Heights on Sunday evening sent one person to the hospital and left two vehicles with extensive damage.
The crash was reported at about 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Arthur Kill and Annadale roads, according to an FDNY spokesperson.

Two vehicles with substantial front-end damage were parked on Annadale Road, with debris and car parts scattered in the roadway and adjacent to the sidewalk. NYPD officers were seen speaking with one of the vehicles’ occupants.
FDNY/EMS transported one patient with injuries, which were not immediately determined, to an area hospital, the spokesperson said.
The NYPD was unable to provide additional information about the incident.

A witness at the scene told the Advance/SILive.com that a female passenger seated in the rear of one of the vehicles was injured. She said the collision occurred as one of the cars was attempting a turn from Arthur Kill onto Annadale.
