STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — St. Joseph Hill and Notre Dame Academy met in front of a packed house at the College of Staten Island Sunday on Senior Day for both teams, and when the last event was contested, the Hilltoppers emerged with a pivotal 88-77 CHSAA victory.
The Hilltoppers recognized 10 graduating seniors, while NDA had three.
Hill’s Grace Esposito (quadruple winner), Natalie Kedzior (quadruple winner), Maeve Kane (triple winner) and Sadie Santeria (triple winner) led the winning assault. Claire Reed (double winner), Julia Grandstand (single winner) and Sofia Garritano (single winner) also contributed.

NDA’s Ella Tawil and Lauren Paventi each claimed one event and swam personal bests in doing so, much to the delight of Gators coach Dawn Christie.
Hill improved to 6-2, while NDA fell to 5-3.
