Brooklyn branch of Enoch Pratt Library reopens

DAVID. THANK YOU. BROOKLYN’S BRANCH OF THE ENOCH PRATT LIBRARY IS BACK OPEN NOW AFTER A SERIES OF EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS. THERE’S A NEW HVAC SYSTEM INSIDE, AS WELL AS NEW FURNITURE AND A FRESH COAT OF PAINT. THE BRANCH ALSO FEATURES A FREE FOOD MARKET, INSIDE WHICH COUNCIL MEMBER FELICIA PORTER SAYS WILL BE A GAME CHANGER. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A GROCERY STORE WITHIN SOUTH BALTIMORE, AND SO THIS HUB, THIS FOOD MARKET, WILL ALLOW RESIDENTS IN BALTIMORE AND SOUTH BALTIMORE IN PARTICULAR, TO ACTUALLY GET FRESH, NUTRITIOUS FOOD FOR THEIR FAMILIES.
