Jan 12 –  Charged with
killing Clarence Adams on East
179th Street between Arthur
Avenues on August 2, 2020 a
defendant is now waiting to
find out if DOJ will seek the
death penalty. 

On January 9 the
US Attorney’s Office wrote to
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman seeking a
60 day delay in the conference
set for January 13 as it is
“still awaiting a final
decision from the Capital Case
Section as to whether the case
will be a capital
one.”  

On January 12
Judge Liman pushed the Jan 13
conference to March 12 at 2
pm.

 These cases
are piling up.
