Man dead after shooting at Brooklyn Park apartment complex

Police are investigating a homicide Tuesday morning after a man was shot dead at a Brooklyn Park apartment complex.

Brooklyn Park Police says officers responded to Park Haven Apartments, located along 76th Avenue North near Kentucky Avenue, at around 2:45 a.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers provided aid until the man could be taken to a hospital. However, he was later declared dead, police say.

Investigators are working to determine what happened, but as of early Tuesday morning, no arrests had been announced.

The identity of the victim hasn’t yet been publicly released.
