STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A night of remembrance, honor and community support will take center stage at the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund’s annual Bini Bash.
The annual event will serve as a tribute to the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack. The evening will honor the bravery of first responders, the resilience of New Yorkers, and the enduring spirit of the Staten Island community.
The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund was established to honor firefighter Carl V. Bini, who served 18 years with the New York City Fire Department, assigned to Rescue 5 on Staten Island, before losing his life on 9/11. Known for his courage, generosity, and commitment to helping others, Carl’s legacy continues through the Fund’s work in the community.
The annual Bini Bash brings together community leaders, families and supporters for an evening of celebration and remembrance.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to continuing the legacy of fallen FDNY firefighter Carl V. Bini through scholarships, emergency grants and vital assistance to Staten Island residents.
“This year’s event is especially meaningful as we reflect on the profound impact of 9/11 and recommit ourselves to never forget what took place 25 years ago,” said Board Chair Massimo DiDonna. “We look forward to unveiling new partnerships and initiatives that will preserve the legacy of those we lost for future generations.”
Guests can expect an evening filled with live entertainment, community recognition and opportunities to support the fund’s mission. Staten Island-based band Cause and the Effects will provide live music, while a raffle featuring high-value prizes will be up for grabs. The night will also feature special tributes and remembrance activities honoring local heroes and 9/11 first responders.
