Dairy Queen isn’t exactly shy about trying some weird and wacky things on its menu. Sure, its burgers and Blizzards may not exactly be out there, but over the years, it’s tried out some frankly wild dishes that have pushed what you expect from a fast food chain. Anyone who remembers the Treatzza Pizza, a pizza-shaped dessert with a fudge crust and candy toppings, will agree with us on that one—although to be honest, we would absolutely demolish one of those right now.

Until DQ brings that item back, though, we might just have to make do with its latest creation. The Instagram account @snackolator, which is now a go-to authority on all things snacks, recently revealed that Dairy Queen is about to debut a brand new dipped cone…a Cinnamon Toast Crunch dipped cone. Okay. We’re listening.

Dairy Queen’s New Dipped Cone Is Covered in Cinnadust

Dairy Queen’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dipped Cone is just the latest in a long line of its dipped ice cream cones, which cover its smooth ice cream in a crunchy outer shell. While the crunchy coating flavor isn’t confirmed just yet, word on the street is that this dessert will taste similar to Dairy Queen’s Churro Dipped option. That definitely tracks, considering that the latter is also dusted with a cinnamon-sugar coating. 

For its Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dipped Cone, though, Dairy Queen looks set to adorn the coating with Cinnadust, giving it an ever-so-slightly different flavor which has notes of vanilla and caramel, as well as spice and sweetness. The graham cracker flavor that’s in such full force in Cinnamon Toast Crunch will also be all over this cone, which we love. 

There’s no word just yet on when the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dipped Cone is hitting the market, but it’s slated to appear sometime in 2026. We wouldn’t be surprised if this were a summer flavor, or else one that ushers us gently into fall with its farming cinnamon-y goodness. Given that DQ has just announced that it’s releasing a new Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone next month, though, we might be waiting a little while yet. 

Fans Are Excited About Dairy Queen’s New Flavor

Anything that tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a winner in our book, and the early responses from fans definitely agree. “Yes lord,” said one comment on the snackolator post, with others piping up in pure anticipation for the new ice cream. Another said that “they are knocking out my faves this year!” while others still questioned whether this cone would taste similar to the Churro Dipped one (which we think is definitely on the money). 

It is worth remembering, though, that there’s been no official word from Dairy Queen just yet on this new flavor, so we may be waiting a while for confirmation. You’d better believe that we’re ready, though—ice cream and Cinnadust can only be good.
