The majority of today will be dry with clouds before a fast moving disturbance brings a chance for precipiation in the evening. Areas south of Buffalo will likely see snow or a rain/snow mix. Everywhere else will see plain rain or a rain/snow mix. Along with the precipiation, wind gusts will begin to pick up as this system approaches. Wind gusts will between 30 and 40 mph, especially this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will warm up into the low 40s today.

There will be some dry time once again overnight and into early Wednesday morning. 

Our next chance for snow arrives Wednesday afternoon and continues into Thursday. There will be a system that moves through with some snow and will draw in some much colder air which will enhance some lake effect snow showers into Thursday. We will likely see some moderate snowfall over 24 hours.

Thursday will be significantly colder, highs only in the teens to low 20s. 

Snow chances clear out Friday but they will be back for the weekend.
