The New York Giants are expected to interview recently fired Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh by the end of the weekend as part of their search for a permanent replacement for Brian Daboll, who was dismissed in November.

Harbaugh, who spent 18 seasons in Baltimore and won a Super Bowl, has emerged as a top target for general manager Joe Schoen, who has been described as “relentless” in his pursuit of the veteran coach.

Reports indicate the Giants are among Harbaugh’s preferred destinations alongside the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans, and the organization has remained in close contact ahead of the anticipated meeting.

Harbaugh has been selective with interviews and may require personnel influence in any new role. The Giants could interview him in Baltimore if Harbaugh prefers to host candidates there, but early indications are the meeting will take place in East Rutherford.

Harbaugh has already begun studying film on quarterback Jaxson Dart, signaling serious interest in the Giants’ roster.

With Schoen retained for 2026 and tasked with leading the search, the Giants are also considering other candidates but appear heavily focused on landing the experienced Harbaugh.
