Astoria, a wild turkey that has moved into the Manhattan park The Battery, explored the snow on Feb. 23 during the winter storm that hit the city. Caretaker Anke Frohlich recorded video of Astoria, in part to share with the turkey's concerned fans. “Conditions were treacherous,” Frohlich said. “Astoria has many fans around the world who are eager to hear about her wellbeing.
