Carlos Gomez was apprehended by police on Jan. 6 at around 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Bay Street and Victory Boulevard. <\/p>\n

Officers found a round white pill of oxycodone marked \u201c230\u2033 in Gomez\u2019s right shoe, according to the criminal complaint, which was based on an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have an oxy in my shoe,\u201d the complaint alleges the defendant told police. He allegedly added that someone known to him \u201chas a prescription for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gomez passed cocaine to customers from the balcony of his home on Victory Boulevard in October and November, the complaint alleges.<\/p>\n
Gomez is accused of exchanging a green plastic capsule containing cocaine powder on one occasion and crack cocaine in a different transaction. Officers allege they recovered the stimulants from both buyers.<\/p>\n
The defendant has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n
Gomez has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has been released with non-monetary conditions. He is due back in Criminal Court in St. George on Feb. 24, according to public records.<\/p>\n
