The Bronx Zoo is offering New Yorkers the opportunity to name a cockroach after their ex for Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

An extract under the heading \u201cA Gift to Remember\u201d on the Zoo\u2019s website, reads, \u201cYou don\u2019t always have the right words, but you can still give them goosebumps. Name a roach for your Valentine, because roaches are forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, an \u201coriginal\u201d digital certificate to mark the occasion is also an option at a cost of $15, and it doesn\u2019t stop there. Visitors are encouraged to \u201cname a Bronx Zoo Madagascar hissing cockroach for your loved one\u201d and \u201cexplore the collection\u201d of other packages on offer.<\/p>\n

For $35, visitors can \u201ccurl up with your special someone for a romantic Valentine\u2019s Virtual Encounter with a Madagascar hissing cockroach \u2014 and a special surprise animal guest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Visitors are also encouraged to \u201cmake it a little wilder\u201d by opting for the \u201cMystery Box\u201d at a cost of $70. \u201cGive them the full package this Valentine\u2019s Day with two mystery roach-tastic gifts** (possibilities roach socks, roach beanie, roach cross-body bag, roach plush, or roach tumbler)!\u201d a further extract reads.\u00a0<\/p>\n
