Many groups participated, including faith leaders from around the Island. It was held in front of Rep. (Nicole) Malliotakis\u2019 office, since she is in support of Trump\u2019s deportation policy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PV4XXNDSAVGPHCPN3EHLMU26AY\">I was astonished by the amount of hate that was spewed in comments on that article. Are these our neighbors? Do they hate so much that any protest gets their ire up and they spew hate? <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MCLAFG2ZRBA4PGEIFWZP4CE4NU\">All faith leaders should be speaking out from their pulpits about hate and how it rots the soul. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"WIP5HLP7KNE2HA5IZ6K6X4ZKYQ\">I only hope that some of these comments are by \u201cbots\u201d or people who do not live here. I\u2019d hate to imagine that these are our neighbors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"TNRTRXKPSRGXPJIP3MNS6L2GJM\">It is the right of every American to speak out against policies they want changed. Let those who spew hate stand up and speak intelligently about the issues. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ZHR4HPKASNGFDFVJ2RCG55BQCE\">(Elena R.
