The New York Giants are reportedly hiring John Harbaugh as their next head coach and we now know how much he’ll be making.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Harbaugh is getting a five-year deal that will be worth almost $100 million, which will make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the NFL.

News broke overnight that Harbaugh and the Giants were closing in on a deal, and the expectation is that deal will be finalized soon.

Harbaugh and the Giants had significant mutual interest from the jump, per reports, so this hiring was expected.

Bringing in Harbaugh is a big get for the Giants, who desperately needed a head coach who could provide some stability and create a winning culture.

Harbaugh fits the bill after spending 18 years with the Baltimore Ravens, where he won a Super Bowl and posted .614 win percentage in that span.

Once Harbaugh’s deal is finalized, attention will turn to filling out his staff.

With Jaxson Dart’s development being paramount for New York, the biggest hire Harbaugh will make to his staff will be at offensive coordinator.

Reports suggest his former offensive coordinator in Baltimore, Todd Monken, is the leading candidate for the job and will likely land it.

Because The Rooney Rule applies to offensive coordinator hires, the Giants still have to go through the interview process before making their ultimate decision.
