The NYPD is asking for the public\u2019s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred in the section of The Bronx.<\/p>\n

Police said that on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at around 7 p.m., a 16-year-old female victim was at a bus stop waiting for the \u201cBX3\u201d in front of 1522 University Avenue, when an unidentified person approached her from behind. They said he began to perform a lewd act and then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on University Avenue to parts unknown. They said there were no injuries reported.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweater, black pants, and black sneakers.<\/p>\n
