The woman whose sexual assault claims against disgraced twin luxury real estate moguls Oren and Alon Alexander<\/a> helped spark dozens of similar allegations worldwide was mysteriously found dead in Australia.<\/p>\n

Kate Whiteman died at age 45 near Sydney late last year, and authorities are now investigating her death, a New South Wales coroner\u2019s spokesperson confirmed to the New York Times.<\/a><\/p>\n

No official cause of death has been determined, the spokesperson said, adding that probes are typically triggered when there are questions about whether the death resulted from \u201cnatural causes.\u201d<\/p>\n

New South Wales authorities declined to comment to the outlet.<\/p>\n

Whiteman sued Oren, co-founder of the Side-backed brokerage firm Official, and Alon<\/a>, a private security firm executive, in March 2024, claiming the multimillionaire twins brutally raped her at infamous party palace \u201cSir Ivan\u2019s Castle\u201d in Water Mill, Long Island, in 2012.<\/p>\n

The Australian socialite claimed she met the brothers, regulars on the New York party circuit, at a Manhattan nightclub in 2012 and was forced into their SUV as she was leaving, according to civil suit.<\/p>\n

The pair drove her to the Southampton party mansion \u2014 owned by flamboyant banking heir-turned-recording artist Ivan Wilzig \u2014 where she was \u201csexually assaulted, abused, raped, pinned, groped, harassed, battered, and fondled\u201d by the scandal-plagued brothers inside.<\/p>\n

Whiteman\u2019s lawsuit triggered a wave of allegations<\/a> that ended with the twins, along with their older brother, Tal, being accused of drugging and violently raping at least 60 women.<\/p>\n

While the brothers denied the allegations, all three found themselves cuffed in December 2024 by the feds in Florida and charged with 10 counts of conspiracy and sex trafficking.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the months leading up to Whiteman\u2019s death, the Alexanders\u2019 lawyers had skewered the Australian native in legal filings that included semi-nude photos of the accuser and explicit messages she sent to the brothers after the alleged rape.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhiteman\u2019s obsessive pursuit and compulsive stalking of the Alexanders after this purported assault is completely and inexplicably inconsistent with her narrative that the Alexanders had violently kidnapped and raped her,\u201d wrote Jason Goldman, a lawyer repping Alon, in a July 2025 filing in Suffolk County Civil Court.<\/p>\n

The filing claimed that \u201cless than a year after the alleged rape, Whiteman brought a female friend to Alon\u2019s apartment, where she posed naked with her friend while the two of them kissed.\u201d The filing included a photograph of a semi-nude Whiteman and the friend.<\/p>\n

But Whiteman\u2019s lawyer, Evan Torgan, fired back that the Alexanders had \u201ccherry-picked\u201d messages from Whiteman in a bid to \u201cdistract\u201d the court from the fact that the FBI had interviewed more than 60 sexual assault victims who had described a similar pattern of sickening behavior from the brothers.<\/p>\n

Whiteman\u2019s case is part of a \u201cbroader pattern of predation, manipulation, and institutional silencing,\u201d Torgan wrote to the court.<\/p>\n

The brothers pleaded not guilty to all charges and have remained locked up<\/a> since their arrest.<\/p>\n

Their trial is set to begin in Manhattan federal court on Jan. 26, with jury selection starting Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Whiteman was not expected to be one of the many women expected to testify at trial, a source close to the case told The Post.<\/p>\n

Her lawyer in her civil case, Evan Torgan, declined to comment Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Alexander Brothers and their lawyers were \u201cunaware\u201d that Whiteman had died before reading about it in media reports Thursday, said their spokesman, Juda Engelmayer.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer attorney and the federal prosecutors were in court with us earlier this week and made no mention of it, perhaps because Ms. Whiteman was never part of the federal prosecution,\u201d Engelmayer said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision to release this information publicly on the eve of trial invites obvious questions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege the Alexanders conspired from 2009 through 2021<\/a> to drug, sexually assault and rape dozens of women<\/a> \u2014 luring them with luxury hotel stays, international travel and access to exclusive events.<\/p>\n

In some cases, victims were transported across state and international lines, then drugged and physically restrained before being raped<\/a>, according to the indictment.<\/p>\n

One woman said she met Oren at a luxurious Miami house party in 2018, where he offered to give her a tour of the property after striking up a conversation.<\/p>\n

He led her to a bedroom, then \u201caggressively threw her onto the bed and forcibly sexually assaulted her,\u201d according to her lawsuit.<\/a><\/p>\n

In another incident, a woman said she was invited to a New York City house party by Tal in July 2013, where she was handed an alcoholic beverage and felt \u201clightheaded and disoriented.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

She says she was forcibly raped by Tal and Oren.<\/p>\n

Oren and Tal made their names in the world of luxury real estate as agents for Douglas Elliman. They eventually started their own firm<\/a>, Official, in 2022.<\/p>\n

The brothers also face multiple civil lawsuits from women making similar allegations.<\/p>\n
