NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) \u2014 Commuters traveling between New York City and Long Island may have to find some travel alternatives for two weekends in January.<\/p>\n
There will be no weekend service for Long Island Rail Road stations in Brooklyn on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18, and again on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25. Service will end at 10:45 p.m. on Friday and will resume at 2:30 a.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
More Transit News <\/a><\/p>\n To accommodate, LIRR riders can show their tickets at select subway stations for free entry.
